The Problem

The funding exists. Competing for it is a full-time job.

If you lead a clinic, a behavioral health program, or a research lab, you already know the math:

01

Deadlines slip by

Federal cycles, foundation deadlines, and corporate health initiatives open and close year-round. Without someone tracking them, eligible funding passes your organization by.

02

Proposals take 20 to 60 hours each

Specific aims, logic models, evaluation plans, budget justifications, biosketches. That is time your clinicians and investigators do not have between patients and protocols.

03

The stakes per submission are high

A seven-figure application you only get one shot at each cycle is not the place to learn. Weak framing, a thin evaluation plan, or a misaligned budget can cost you the award and a full year of runway.

Services & Pricing

Simple flat fees. No percentages, ever.

We pursue awards from $100,000 to $10 million and beyond, where expert positioning changes the outcome. Flat fees, quoted before we start, so you always know the cost.

Deadline Rescue

Deadline closing in? We can move faster.

When a funder deadline is tight, we compress the same Single Proposal engagement into an expedited timeline. Pricing is the standard proposal fee plus a rush premium based on how much runway is left. Managed Grant Program clients pay no rush premium, ever.

30+ daysstandard fee
21 to 30 days+25%
11 to 20 days+50%
7 to 10 days+100%

Under 7 days we will usually decline rather than risk your submission. If that is where you are, call us anyway and we will tell you honestly whether it can be done.

Check My Deadline

We never charge a percentage of grants won. Commission-based grant writing violates the Grant Professionals Association code of ethics, and we follow it.

How It Works

From intake to submission in four steps

Built to take almost none of your time, about one hour total from your team, start to finish.

1

Quick intake

You complete a short form about your programs, outcomes, and funding needs. That is most of what we will ever ask of you.

2

Funder matching

We research federal programs, private foundations, and corporate health initiatives actively funding work like yours, then match them to your eligibility.

3

We write

We draft the full proposal to the funder's exact guidelines and review criteria, grounded in your real outcomes data and your program's story.

4

You approve & submit

You review everything, we revise until it's right, and the application goes out on time. Then we line up the next one.

About Us

Funding experience, put to work for good

C&B Grant Writers was founded in Houston with one belief: the organizations treating patients and advancing research shouldn't lose funding for lack of time to write for it. We work with nonprofits in every state.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you guarantee we'll win the grant?

No, and you should be cautious of anyone who does. Funding decisions belong to funders. What we guarantee is a professional, complete, on-time submission written to the funder's specific guidelines, which is what maximizes your chances.

How much of our time does this take?

Usually two to three hours total: a short intake form, one call to walk through your program design, and your review of the draft before submission. We handle the research, writing, and formatting.

Do you use AI in your process?

Yes, openly. We use AI for research. Every proposal is fact-checked, edited, and written by us personally, and nothing is ever submitted without your review and approval.

Why flat fees instead of a percentage of the grant?

Percentage-based fees violate the Grant Professionals Association and AFP codes of ethics, and most funders prohibit paying writers from awarded funds. Flat fees keep everything clean, predictable, and fundable.

Who do you work with?

Health-focused nonprofits anywhere in the United States: community clinics and federally qualified health centers, mental health and substance use programs, patient advocacy and disease-specific organizations, public health initiatives, and biomedical research institutes. We work remotely, so your location is never a barrier.

¿Ofrecen servicios en español?

Sí. Todo nuestro proceso, incluyendo formularios, llamadas y comunicación, está disponible completamente en español. Escríbanos o llámenos con confianza.

Free Grant Strategy Framework

Find out if you are ready to win major grants.

Most organizations that lose federal and major foundation funding lose it on eligibility and capacity, not on writing. We will review your registrations, financial documentation, indirect cost position, outcomes data, and internal capacity, then send you a scored strategy framework showing exactly what stands between you and a seven-figure application. No cost, and no obligation to work with us.
